The Rampage Navigation Controller is a Bluetooth wireless handlebar remote to use for adventure ride navigation and electronic roadbook navigation. The unit has a button control box that you fit onto your handlebar and then a tethered little Bluetooth box, the size of two matchboxes, that you fit somewhere on your bike front.

Your phone simply pairs with the device and the buttons can be used to control your phone apps.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON LEAD TIMES: The first controllers are being manufactured by hand at our offices and will start being produced in June 2021. It may have a lead time of 1-2 weeks before shipping due to this manual process. This is mainly due to the fabrication time and acquisition of some of the components. If your order is timed with a batch in process, it can be quicker.

This controller is in the development stage and we encourage early adopter to get involved by purchasing either our open-source package for free or have us build it for you.

The controller is based on Bluetooth technology that connects with any mobile device or tablet using its normal Bluetooth connection.
The Bluetooth on the unit is BLE which means it uses extremely little energy and runs on approx 18ma per hour, meaning it will last approx 50 hours of operation without the need for a recharge.

The unit is currently hardcoded by us, to run in one of two modes with the flip of a switch.
The two modes are Adventure mode and the other is Rally mode. Adventure modes link the unit to the functionality of LOCUS MAPS.
The Rally mode uses the RALLY NAVIGATOR app. Both are Android apps. The controller has not been tested on crApple devices, but it uses normal Bluetooth meaning it should work on Apple also, as long as you use the same apps to navigate. 🙂
