RAMPAGE EVENT NOTICE
EVENT FORMAT
This Saturday’s Outride follows our usual self-paced, self-navigation format. That means there’s no group leader and no convoy. You ride solo or with a friend, at your own pace, navigating with RBR—or just follow someone if you’re in Class 3. New to this? Don’t stress—it’s more fun and relaxed than you’d expect.
THE ROUTE
This route isn’t built to break bikes or riders, but it’s also not for beginners or pillions. Expect a scenic ride with sand, single track, and a few rocky spots. Most bikes can manage, but heavier bikes may struggle in softer or technical areas without confident control.
CLASS 3 (FOLLOWERS) – HOW IT WORKS
At the start, we ask riders to split loosely into fast, average, and slower groups to start. Fast riders start first, slower riders last—this keeps it relaxed for everyone and helps with dust.
If you chose Class 3 (Follow), we’ll try and match you with someone in your pace group where possible. You will have to join and ask around also to team up with someone. Just note: you might end up in a group that’s a little faster or slower than your comfort zone.
That’s a good reason to consider navigating yourself next time—it’s easier than you think and way more rewarding! 😉
