Namibia Roadbook Camp 2023

• 2 days of dune and sand instruction by a professional
• 3 days of roadbook riding
• Open to cars, SxS and bikes
• Option to rent digital roadbooks (limited number)

The idea is to do this a week before the Crono Rally so that if you want to challenge yourself you can do this riding and the Crono back-to-back for an extra challenge or for Dakar training.

If you are planning to do any big international rallies where there are dunes, I would highly recommend this, as the biggest disadvantage we have at international events is the lack of proper dune riding experience.

I know this comes in at a much higher cost than any of the other training events. The reason for this is simple, and anybody that has been in big dunes will understand and attest to this.

The cost lies in running the event. Whether it is needed or not, we need to have the ability to get you out of the dunes should you get injured or your bike/car breaks down. This comes at a high but vital cost.

Furthermore, getting this kind of sand/dune experience will cost you much more anywhere else in the world. For comparison, Sonora only has 2 days of dune riding and costs R55000 to enter, that is excluding bike, travel, etc., just the entry.

Merzouga and MDC will all set you back in excess of R65000 for the entry fee alone and they are also not 100% dunes, you only spend 2-3 days in the big dunes.

For the Namibia Roadbook Camp, we are focusing on dune and sand training as well as off-piste cap nav for 5 full days so that you can be prepared for any international rally of your choosing.
